Graduation Ceremony:
June 12, 2024 Location: New Covenant Church of Philadelphia, 7500 Germantown Ave Time: 10:00 am (seniors arrive at 9am)
MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsals:
June 3, 5, 7, 10 at MLK HS auditorium. NO EXCEPTIONS! Be prompt as we start rehearsal at 9 am. There is a MANDATORY REHEARSAL at New Covenant Church at 9 am on June 11, 2024. You are REQUIRED to be punctual. Graduation tickets will be issued to those who are prompt and present. Each student will receive ten tickets for graduation. Additionally, Caps and Gowns will be distributed during the first week of June. Students who have paid their class dues will also receive their diploma cover, yearbook, and class t-shirt.

In addition, we understand your excitement, but it is imperative that you conduct yourself in a manner that is appropriate. When we arrive at New Covenant, we are guest and must respect the space (inside and outside) that is most graciously gifted for Martin Luther King students.

Cheryl Twilley Outreach Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Any first-generation, low-income undergraduate student who is an underrepresented minority may apply for this scholarship if they have at least a 2.8 GPA and community service experience.
Amount: $2,500
Winners: 5 winners, $500 each

Eligibility: Undergraduate students are eligible to apply if they are first-generation college students pursuing a career in business and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
